Everyone has a dream about what it means
to have a dog...
I’m Angelique Lee. I’ve spent years working and playing with my dogs, always curious about their body language, their behaviors, and the communication between human and dog. I dreamt of my dog walking next to me without a leash, always enthusiastically coming when called, learning tricks, politely greeting visitors and impressing them with good manners, playing fetch, hiking on trails with me, and being a good buddy.

Six years ago when I brought home a 9-week old puppy named Baker (pictured left, at age 4, with me, and Finn, on the right at 10 months - what you don't see is the very large mole my cat proudly deposited a moment earlier just in front of us) I was forced to reconsider what it meant for a dog to be happy, content, and trained. Baker has been and always will be a dog that thrives on high energy. It wasn’t until I learned how to see the world through her eyes that I gained the ability to teach her how to meet human expectations for behavior, and engage her in the kinds of games that would fulfill her as a dog.
The challenging journey of working with Baker brought me deeper into the world of companion dog training. In June of ‘05 I received a certification in Basic E-Touch Training from Martin Deeley’s International School for Dog Trainers in Montverde, Florida.
I subsequently joined the International Association of Canine Professionals as an Associate Member, and am committed to developing and expanding my knowledge and skills through workshops, extensive reading and observation, and continuing education.
